What do they mean? Is there any truth in what they promise? As society splits and unites, is filled with prejudice and looks for a way out, each person faces a confusing choice: do they want to know how much time they have been given? The Yardstick depicts the dawn of a new world through a group of eight characters whose decisions and destinies are intertwined: best friends united by common dreams; pen pals who find support in each other; a couple who think they have no time to rush; a doctor who cannot save himself; and a politician whose box becomes a powder keg and changes everything.
